Ever since I was a child, I have been in awe with the beauty of
art–vivid colors, brilliant shapes and delightfully innovative forms. Reluctant to
venture anywhere without the company of my closest friends — a crayon and
a sketchpad, I question, with an unfettered spirit, everything I
encounter during my curious adventures. I am certain my true, happiest
self emerges when I play with art. As I continue my life-journey, I am
gradually discovering that art has become an integral part of my self-
expression. The magic of art, never lessening for me, instead enriches and
matures my work as it evolves over time. Art offers me the “secret garden”
that I often internally visits in my meditations. There, self-discovery can be
coaxed into material form as art. Regardless of whichever career I end up
pursuing, I am determined that art will remain a part of my life, one that
I will forever treasure.
